This view looking east over Naperville's downtown shows off the tree lined streets along the riverwalk and lake. City hall is the big building just above the lake. If you go to the free Thursday night concerts in the park (not far from the St. Peter and Paul church in the upper left corner) in the summer, you'll swear The Music Man was probably based on Naperville even though Lacey had River City in Iowa. The cool, quaint shops are slowly being replaced by big chains but the atmosphere is the same - extraordinary focus on family.
