Waubonsie is District 204's original high school, with about 3,000 students. It is a sprawling building that reflects the growth of western Naperville and eastern Aurora like the rings of a tree. The district was restructured in 2009 when Metea Valley High was opend so much of the student population is now drawn from the center of the district.
