Chowmahalla Palace
Hyderabad, India, is an old city and the palace of the Nizams was the seat of the Asaf Jahi dynasty. Salabat Jung started building it around 1750 and it was completed somewhere between 1857 and 1869. Of course, the decades produced buildings with many architectural styles. There are two courtyards surounded by elegant palaces, the grand Khilwat (Durbar Hall), fountans and gardens. It is going through almost continual restoration to keep the 14 acres and multiple buildings in good condition.
