Your photo on social media is probably the first impression you make for a client, customer, or potential employer. A quality head shot will show your personality, confidence, trustworthiness, and enthusiasm. In fact, you may want a handful of head shots with different clothing or backgrounds to use on social media profiles, customer presentations, print media, and for personal use.

Just about any pro will get you a technically correct photo. My goal is to give you head shots that tell your story. I try to create a friendly and easy-going atmosphere and get to know you as we go through this process.  I like to shoot your photographs while we are having a conversation so we can keep everything casual and less "staged."

You can come to my in-home studio and spend a few minutes having your photo made and then head out to work again. I have a large bathroom available for wardrobe changes. If you are coming in with some colleagues, there is a large adjoining room where everyone can queue up. Alternatively, I can go to your office or an outdoor location to make your head shot.  I describe that more fully under the menu option for Staff and Team Portraits.

My business head shots include:

  • Up to an hour of time, although most sessions average 20 to 45 minutes
  • Up to five wardrobe, background, or lighting changes for a variety of looks
  • In-session image review
  • Final images edited to optimize exposure and color balance and remove blemishes
  • Final image files prepared in a high resolution print-ready JPEG and a low-resolution web-ready JPEG available for you to download from my online gallery
  • License for print and marketing/advertising use

My pricing is simple:

Scheduling Fee                       $ 25

First retouched image             $125

Additional retouched images    $ 50

The scheduling fee covers customizing the studio and lighting for your look, any administration we do to schedule the time, a portion of my operating costs committed for the session, and my expertise and is nonrefundable. I don't want to deal with sales taxes so I have outsourced printing services to one of the best photo printing services in the country which you can use directly from my website. Alternatively, you can take the files to a photo printing company you use for your personal prints.
