Great Wall at Mutianyu

The Great Wall was built in sections starting around the 7th century BC and was joined into a single wall by Qin Shi Huang, the first Emeror of China between 220-206 BC. Most of the original wal was rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644) This section is about 70 kilometers from Beijing, near the village of Mutianyu.
